Transitioning from
military service to
civilian life has
been tough
for many

LAVA Veterans UNITED exists to meet the tough issues that our Veterans face. Most of these challenges are complex. Homelessness among honorably discharged veterans, employment, physical disabilities, as well as those less evident, such as PTSD, substance abuse, suicide prevention, mental wellbeing and the need for a strong connection to supporting communities. These are some of the challenges we are facing head-on.

As Veterans ourselves, we know how challenging the transition can be. Now our mission is to create a better quality of life for our fellow Veterans, and help them on their journey to achieve wholeness and success.

LAVA, an acronym for Legion of Advocates for Veterans of America was born from a passion to help our Veterans and their families.

Our sister organization, LAVA Veterans Group, has a proven track record of serving retirement-aged veterans. This proven approach advocates for senior veterans to get the benefits that they deserve.

We see the critical needs of a younger veteran population and their families as well. These are needs we simply were not equipped to meet.

Until now.

LAVA Veterans United is rising to the challenge. Your corporate and personal donations create a lifeblood of support to those who have served to guard the freedoms we enjoy.
